Masonry Waterproofing

Wall westerly facing wall, sheet rain was saturating the wall. The lead-work, slates, the fitting of the Velux window and the lower gutter were all being blamed for the water ingress. The stone wall, as you can see from the image, has no stepped lead trays in its construction.

The client had re-pointed the stone work as you can see by the different shading of the mortar in the picture. But the amount of rain hitting this westerly elevation wall on the seafront, rendered the pointing and stone work unable to deflect the amount of rainwater being experienced.

Coelans sealed the wall successfully in a quick, easy and fuss free solution and its life expectancy is 15 years, as it has passed this amount of time on other projects.
